University of Surrey | Manor Park Campus Residences

MJP are pleased to have won an open competition for new student residences at the University of Surrey’s Manor Park Campus.

The aim of the University’s masterplan was to create a transition between a rural and an urban landscape

The University, based in Guildford, launched its architectural competition in February for the design of approximately 1,000 student bedrooms and ancillary facilities on its Manor Park campus.

The aim of the University’s masterplan was to create a transition between a rural and an urban landscape. MJP’s winning design will see the student residences arranged around interlinked courtyards – some enclosed and others open to one side, presenting a series of gable ends to a new road.
