MJP are delighted to announce that Michael Ritchie has been elected to the Board of Directors of MJP Architects by its Qualifying Employee shareholders.
Michael joined MJP in 2008 and has worked on projects for Harrow College, Balliol College Oxford, and new offices and hospitality for Berry Bros & Rudd in central London. He is currently the Project Architect for a 400 room residential development at the University of Roehampton.
Michael has a keen interest in the development of low energy building design and has particular experience in developing natural ventilation strategies for new buildings. He is currently a member of MJP’s Green Group providing support, research and education in sustainability issues for staff.
MJP Architects Ltd is an architectural practice established in 1972 and based in Spitalfields, London. The practice changed its name from MacCormac Jamieson Prichard in June 2008 and has been owned and ultimately controlled by its staff through an Employee Benefit Trust since October 2007.
