MJP Architects proposals for Tesco store, Nottingham

MJP Architects recent proposals for a Tesco store in Nottingham.

MJP’s proposals featured a 12,000sqm store, fronted by a public plaza with outdoor sports facilities (courts, skatepark and mini-golf), a café and children’s playground on the car park roof.

The store would be naturally lit, of laminated timber frame construction with a visible architecturally striking roof structure.

MJP’s integrated sustainable design approach included a ‘Super Tree’ servicing strategy with natural ventilation, solar collectors and PV’s on the roof.
