IFC 5 International Finance Centre Jersey | Official Opening

IFC 5, the second MJP designed building on the International Finance Centre, has been officially opened by the States of Jersey Minister of Treasury and Resources Susie Pinel. Present at the ceremony were the Deputy Bailiff Tim le Cocq, the Constable of St Helier Simon Crowcroft and other officials and guests.

SANNE, the leading global provider of alternative asset and corporate services has relocated its headquarters to IFC 5. To commemorate their move and to mark the completion of the building, Jersey Development Company and SANNE Group plc hosted the official opening ceremony.

Lee Henry, Managing Director of the Jersey Development Company said “We are delighted to have completed the second building at the IFC on time and on budget. We also welcome SANNE as our first tenant and wish them every success, particularly as this year SANNE celebrate a significant anniversary. SANNE has taken 56% of the building and we have signed Heads of Terms on a further 30% leaving just 14% which we anticipate will be let by the end of the year”

The six storey, 69,000 sft, Super Prime Grade A development includes a new public square named after Trenton, the state capital of New Jersey USA. The BREEAM ‘Excellent’ building also includes underground private parking for 48 cars and 80 cycles, as well as two retail food & beverage units.

The Jersey Development Company chose local construction company Camerons to build IFC 5, which has been designed to match the specifications of other world leading finance centres. To achieve this aspiration JDC commissioned an award-winning design team, which included MJP Architects and Waterman Group plc, both having a proven track record in designing exemplary commercial office buildings.
