Marion joined MJP in August 1997 and became an Associate in 2002 when we incorporated as a limited company. She is responsible for managing all aspects of our practice administration, particularly financial.
Trust and Shareholdings
When the practice became an Employee Benefit Trust in 2007, Marion also took on responsibility for company administration relating to the Trust and Shareholdings. At the same time as changing the structure of the practice we reviewed our financial reporting methods and these were modified to suit our Trust. MJP produces management accounts each month to a standard that requires a minimum of work at the year end and presented in such a way that they are accessible and informative to all our staff.
Finance and Personnel
Marion previously worked at the architectural practice Powell and Moya for 20 years, in a number of roles including Company Secretary.
During her administrative career Marion has always worked in creative environments putting her organisational, financial and personnel skills to good use. She has also been a school governor and secretary and treasurer of several community groups.
